Davies Foods is a privately owned New Zealand company. Pop’n’ Good was born in 1984 when Paul Davies began growing popcorn and popping it in his kitchen. He began supplying his special product at fairs and video stores and eventually supermarkets. Davies Foods now supplies products to the convenience channel and cinemas and to all marjor supermarkets across NZ and Australia. The company’s other brands include ACT II Microwave Popcorn (from ConAgra Foods in the US) and Chop Chop canned products.
