when Paul Davies began growing popcorn and popping it in his kitchen.
He began supplying his special product at fairs and video stores and eventually supermarkets.
Davies Foods now supplies products to the convenience channel and cinemas and to all major
supermarkets across NZ and Australia. The company’s other brands include ACT II
Microwave Popcorn (from ConAgra Foods in the US) and Chop Chop canned products, and they
recently acquired the beverage brands Demon Energy, Loaded Sports Drinks, Zero Water, NOS Energy,
Pure Energy, Miss Coopers, Illicit, 360, Fizzy Juice Burst, Hunger Buster and The Big Chill.
